The More of God

There is more!
I feel like the Lord is calling His children to believe for more. To extend our faith for more. He is willing and able; we just need to believe.
Faith is the very currency of Heaven.
I don’t know about anyone else but I’ve felt like the Lord is getting ready to move in unprecedented ways. I mean He already has this year through great moves both nationally and internationally but I can’t shift the feeling that He’s gearing up to do even greater things in the year to come.
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,”
Ephesians 3:20 NKJV
Before I go on to talk about the miracles, moves and what the Lord wants to do in and through His children’s lives. This scripture (Eph 3:20) is preceded by a prayer for spiritual growth. And that growth is actually in God’s love.
It is so important that we find ourselves grounded in God’s love for us, not the other way round. I heard a man of God parallel our relationship with our earthly parents with the relationship we have with our Heavenly Father. He put it this way, that the love of a parent will always be greater than a child. That vertical love straight down from a parent to their child will always outweigh the love reciprocated by the child. A child can love their parent, and may love them deeply but the sacrificial, overwhelming love from a parent is always greater.
In Matthew 7:9-11, Jesus says that if we as sinful people know how to give good gifts to our children, how much more will our Heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask of Him. What an incredible assurance and promise?
You see, some people get itchy feet when we start to speak about prosperity but there is no need to be fearful about it. Once you understand God’s great love for you, you will see that we serve a God who truly loves us. We are co-heirs with Christ and are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. There is absolutely nothing He will not do for you (Psalm 84:11).
So what is it that you are believing the Lord for in this season? Dare to believe Him for more! That more could look like anything, more anointing, more fire, more open doors, more salvations, more healings. Whatever it is, He will still supersede it because that’s what He does.
God’s will is for you to be full of joy, love, peace - the fruit of the spirit Galatians 5. That, as you walk it’s flowing from you effortlessly. As you walk, you are walking in the favour of God effortlessly. You are blessed, content, at peace! You’re not trying to come to Him with formulas, you’re just living in that place of serenity and from that comes overflow.
And I want to encourage you that continued goodness is your inheritance (Psalm 23:6). Sometimes the wait is long and it seems like the night is lasting forever but God’s promise is that weeping may endure for a night but JOY is coming in the morning! (Psalm 30:5)
God’s great love for you bankrupted heaven, God gave His absolute BEST for you! Would He now give you anything less? Romans 8:32 (NLT) is a scripture that blessed me incredibly when I was in a waiting season.
“Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?”
When it hit me I said “yes, if God gave His only Son for me freely, while I was still in rebellion, there is nothing I could ask of Him that’s too much.”
God loves YOU, sent His son to die for YOU. He wants you to be blessed, that’s why He made provision for you. If it was just about salvation, you would’ve been translated into heaven as soon as you said the sinner’s prayer. But there is a life God wants you to live.
A life full of goodness, favour, of testimony. An abundant life.
“The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].”
John 10:10 AMP.
The purpose of this abundant life is so when people see you, they see His hand all over you, His face shining upon you. It’s intended for you to live a life that is so overflowing with the goodness of God that those around you will see that your God is alive!
So what is it that you are believing the Lord for in this season? Dare to believe Him for more! That more could look like anything, more anointing, more fire, more open doors, more salvations, more healings. Whatever it is, He will still supersede it because that’s what He does.
God wants you to do well in all things.

As you release the name of God into your atmosphere, into your life, over seemingly lifeless situations watch how He manifests Himself and gets to work on your behalf.
Believe Him for more!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for all that You have done. Thank You that You are the King of Glory, seated high above all else.
Lord, I pray that You would reveal Yourself to me. I believe You to be the I AM that I AM, the almighty One. Thank You for the victory that I walk in because of the finished work of the cross.
Thank You that I am seated in heavenly places in You Lord, I pray that Your will be done in my life. I invite You into every area, have Your way Lord!
